Co-op raid game
Early Godot experiment — four-player boss arenas inspired by FFXIV raids, feeding Enigma Eternal and unlocking from the FC site easter egg hunt.
This co-op raid proof-of-concept is in early development.
It will be built in Godot as an experiment in multiplayer and boss fight design. The idea grew out of playing together in FFXIV — a small snapshot of that experience, emulating some of the enemy mechanics and pressure you face in raids.
The plan is several arenas where four players tackle a large foe with complex attack patterns — many borrowed from other games to keep design easy for now, then adjusted to make them more my own. Whatever I learn here will feed boss fights in Enigma Eternal. This raiding-focused build will probably not ship as a broad public release; it is intended as an easter egg reward on the FC website.

Highlights
- Godot four-player boss arenas — FFXIV raid inspiration, patterns adapted from other games.
- Learnings flow into Enigma Eternal; FC site easter egg finale instead of a wide public launch.
- Replaces the current 2D simple dodge mini game; open source when far enough along.
The end goal is simple: have fun, learn, and reuse what I pick up in Enigma Eternal. The game will unlock when someone finds every easter egg on the FC site I built earlier. Today that reward is already a mini game — a simpler single-player dodge room where orange overlays choreograph elaborate attack patterns.
A more faithful version of what our group already enjoys in raids sounded worth building — for fun and for practice. It is a good in-between project: modest scope, plenty to learn, and still moves Enigma Eternal forward.
Development stays in Godot and its ecosystem. Once the project reaches a modest but solid stage, I plan to open-source it and leave it free for anyone to use as they like.
